Christmas round-up

United Welsh tenants and staff were very busy over the festive period. The Living+ and Housing with Care schemes were extremely active.  There was lanterns and carols at Cole Court in Caerphilly, Christmas Fayres and much carolling with local primary schools.

Children from Coed y Garn Primary in Nantyglo and Cwrt Rawlin Primary in Caerphilly wowed tenants of Llys Nant y Mynydd and Plas Hyfryd with their superb Christmas carolling.  The Christmas fayre at Llys Nant y Mynydd was in conjunction with social enterprise Vision 21.  There was an array festive delights to choose from; Christmas cakes to mince pies, pickled onions to pickled cabbage and wonderful handmade chocolates and homemade Christmas puddings.

The Support Services team led a Christmas Present Plea with SMK which saw bags of presents being donated by contractor and staff and taken to local Women’s services.  This kind generosity really does make a difference at Christmas.
